The Night Vision and Night Vision Goggle Training Systems provide specialized training in both unaided and aided night vision to optimize aircrew readiness and performance in night operations. ETC's NVT/NVGT systems combine combine academic instruction with interactive demonstrations to optimize a pilot's effectiveness and reduce mishaps for night flying during night vision operations.
The Night Vision and Night Vision Goggle Training Systems provide specialized training in both unaided and aided night vision to optimize aircrew readiness and performance in night operations.
The Night Vision Training System (NVTS) combines academic instruction with interactive demonstrations to optimize a pilots’ ability to see at night without the use of night vision devices. Basic and advanced techniques are covered, and various low and no light situations are simulated.
ETC's Night Vision Goggle Training System, utilizing the customers’ own night vision goggles, couples the use of classroom instruction with the utilization of a physical scaled model board and/or a virtual terrain model duplicating a specific geography as selected by the client.
The virtual terrain model training creates a simulated night flight environment reproducing real life flight missions. Flight cockpit stations are available where the trainee takes control of the simulated flight for a first-hand experience in aided or unaided night flight mission.
Identifies any potential visual challenges resulting from reduced or absent light.
Allows repeated practice of night vision and night vision goggle techniques.
Terrain specific NVGTS imparts familiarity with topographical features from the air.
ETC's AeroMedical Training Institute (AMTI) is a premier, worldwide, instructor training and curriculum development organization. AMTI’s expertise helps customers to get the most benefit out of their aeromedical training equipment by providing comprehensive training programs that are tailored to customers’ specific training situations.
